I attended a preview class of Pam Refling’s Computer Design Weaving Workshop along with 17 of my fellow Bozeman Weavers Guild members. She carefully walked us through the menus of the PCW Fiberworks Program and showed examples of how easy it is to draw a design, edit the threading, tie-up, treadling and color. Towards the end we used what we had learned in a tutorial. It was such a thrill to create a design quickly that I had labored over for hours by hand. Back home I resolved a design where I had misunderstood the treadling order. With one click I reversed the treadling and then it looked like the picture in the book! Pam is a good teacher and very patient with beginners to computer design. I’d recommend her class in a heartbeat. Susan H-
