Location & Lodging

The Bozeman Weavers Guild could not be more delighted to welcome you to our beautiful corner of SW Montana.  Big Sky, MT in June is the epitome of the natural summer wonders of our area:  the high mountain meadows filled with wildflowers; cold, rushing creeks carrying snow-melt to the Gallatin River, birds and wildlife in abundance; warm, sunny days (fingers crossed!) and cool, fresh nights.

The setting will be perfect for exploring, learning and pushing our fiber boundaries. And in our downtime, we’ll have an amazing array of possibilities.  Soaking in the pool or going for a hike?  Bird watching or mountain biking?  Taking the tram to the top of Lone Mountain or taking in the evening while spinning with friends?

If the family should like to come with you, they will be entertained for days while you are weaving, spinning, dyeing, etc!  The Gallatin River offers world-class fly-fishing, as well as white water rafting.  Myriad camping, hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding opportunities beckon throughout the Gallatin Canyon, which is also a gateway to Yellowstone National Park, less that 50 miles up the road.  We can’t wait to share these wonders with you in June of 2018
