Big Sky Fun for All

Yesterday a few of us from the MAWS 2018 planning team visited Big Sky and met with our guy, Jamie, to work on a few more conference details.  I realize Big Sky is most well known as a ski resort but, honestly, I can’t imagine a more glorious place to spend a beautiful summer day.   And clearly I wasn’t the only one to think so.  The Mountain Village, site of our conference center, was buzzing with the activities of families and kids in pursuit of all kinds of fun!

We saw folks zip-lining,mountain biking, climbing walls, swinging,

and things I don’t even know the words for.

Your family may very well insist on accompanying you on this trip, and if they do:  not to worry!  While we are busy weaving, spinning, and dyeing, etc., they’ll be having the time of their lives in God’s Country.  It’s win/win for all!

Our team had a productive time as we reviewed the space at the Yellowstone Conference Center and mentally assigned workshops to appropriate rooms, visited the various lodging buildings again and figured out the best accommodations for our instructors, and did some meal planning.

We left feeling so excited about sharing this beautiful place with you all.  I’m sure you already have the dates on your calendar, but just in case:  June 12 – 17, 2018.  Meet us in Big Sky where the Sky’s the Limit!
