As we know, different breeds of sheep have different fibers. Some felt easily and others, well, join me in a study of wet-felting wool from different breeds of sheep and let’s see! Each student will be given a bag of washed wool from a different breed of sheep. With that single breed, each person will be wet felting it into a useful square or rectangle to use as you wish. Please note: This requires some hand motion and rolling, patting, etc. If you have your own favorite breed and would like to bring your own wool, please contact Lavonne no later than one month before the class and let her know what you will be bringing. |
